Since the Victorian era Forest of Dean Stone Firms’ products have been used to construct and complement. Our sandstone is durable and hard-wearing, and can be crafted to suit domestic and commercial applications.

Internal Flooring

Our Forest Pennant internal stone flooring is often used in historical properties but is equally at home with contemporary interior designs. Forest Pennant sandstone offers excellent slip resistance properties and is an ideal choice to offer pleasing continuity from the inside out. Our natural stone flooring is used for domestic and commercial flooring.

Installation & Care	Our internal flooring is cut to paving tolerances and we recommend an 8mm joint laid on a mortar system. Forest of Dean Pennant Sandstone absorption is approx. 2.5% so we would not advise use in high spill areas. Treatment with Lithofin Stain-Stop or similar may be considered. Treatment does not alter the appearance or performance of the stone.
Delivery	Packed onto shrink-wrapped, non-returnable pallets. Typically weighing approx. one tonne.We can arrange kerb-side delivery in most cases, please contact us for more details.

Our Forest Pennant mixed colour internal flooring range is equally suited to contemporary interior designs for your home with excellent slip resistance properties in a sawn finish. It is also an ideal choice for flooring with underfloor heating or when a complementary indoor / outdoor flooring system is desired.
