Forest Pennant Paving, Steps & Kerbs

Forest of Dean Stone Firms supplied mixed colour paving with a bush hammered finish, blue pennant coping (sawn six sides), mixed colour step units with bush hammer to top & front face with royal white granite step nosing supplied by Hardscape and, finally, mixed colour kerbs with bullnose.

Caerphilly Castle is over 800 years old and is the second largest castle in the UK. Conservation and restoration of this historic landmark is designed to be sympathetic to its heritage; using as much of the original material as possible and selecting new materials that work in harmony with the existing natural stone. Our local Forest Pennant sandstone fitted the bill perfectly.
